[Thinkpad] revert to previous versions (Fn+F3 (blank display) does not work)

Actually, looks like the "application" is XP itself :-), killed/dissabled
everything that I could in taskmanager and kept doing it.

I would like to revert back to the orignal version, but can't find it on
the web, and have not a clue how to extract it from the "hidden protected
area" on the hard disk.
