I do not know particulars on the X series, but I read recently that the
"Great Wall China Company" (or something like that) builds the machines
that are manufactured in China. I believe most T4x machines are built
there.

Just to clarify my previous post, my X30 (like your 570E and like some
560s) was "Manufactured *by* IBM" and "Made in Mexico".
