LG made the thinkpads that were made in korea..

sanmina makes the thinkpads made in china and everyplace else as ibm sold
sanmina the production facilities..

i don't know what lenovo will do with sanmina..

i guess what makes a thinkpad an ibm thinkpad is the R&D and design teams as
well as the QC standards..
