[Thinkpad] R40 (type 2897) recovery CD 1 .iso ?

Anyone have the ability to put the R40 (2897) recovery CD 1 online as a
.iso? I have a set here for a sick machine, and disk 1 is bad -- fails
partway through restore, and when I try to copy it on another machine, it
gets unrecoverable read errors. It would REALLY help to not have to wait
for IBM to send another set.
