A Gmail acount is an email account run by www.google.com that offers a
gigabyte of email storage. it has POP support (for using an email client
program), and a usefull "archive" feature. Archive lets you save a
message, but not to a perticular folder. it can then be accessed by
using a mail search feature. Gmail is by invitation only, so therefore
you need a Gmail user with available "invites" to sign you up.

OK, I'll bite... What's a G-Mail account, why would I want one and
what does it have to do with Thankpads? (No complaint, just in the
dark here.)
