Hello all
I just had a chance to check out the i1200 that my brother dropped.
The screen is definitely toast, a real rorschach blot.
I hooked it up to an external monitor and it worked fine except for the
fact that neither of us can remember the Win2K login password.
I've got to remember to write theses things down...
The machine is type number 1161-43U serial number AA-G9HMH 01/07
700 MHz Celeron, 184 Mb RAM, 10 Gb hard drive with about 8Gb available
(I think the original WinME recovery partition may still be in there?).
Win2K Pro SP3 is installed but I couldn't tell you the password.
He's got a CD with all the IBM updates and drivers.
CD drive and internal modem included, no built in ethernet.
Let me know if you can use it, I'm sure he'd let it go for about the
cost of shipping form Maine (04579)

PS: just doubled the size of the data card on the sold state 560x, I'm
up to 2 Gb for a total of 2.8 Gb!
