[Thinkpad] IBM X40 Keyboard keys "*" "+" "-" not what they appear in XP

PLEASE HELP!! Got an X40 out of the box with WinXP installed, but the keys
Shift 8, 9, 0, "-" and "+" are read wrong by Xp key code. What can I do to
fix? thanks! Demetri
