RE: [Thinkpad] built-in wireless t23

I don't know about out of luck.... if you feel like being a bit creative,
you could install an antenna yourself. I personally did so on my A20M, I
found a spot one would fit (the svideo in out spot where the card exists on
the A20P) run the antenna to the mini pci bay and install. I currently
have an Intel 2200 802.11bg card in an A20M. Possible, but you void any
warranty you have left and it helps if you know what you are doing.
I found the antenna for 15 bucks for 2 of them (you only need to install
one) and the card for 38 on ebay.

  My T23 doesn't have hash marks. 2648LU7 - I haven't been inside the
  minipci space since I removed the modem (to put in my A20 that I sold) but
  don't remember any antenna leads hanging loose.
