Well, not always. Neither of my A30p's have the hash marks, but they do have
wireless antennas.
One machine I bought new and peeled off the hash mark stickers, along with
the Intel and Windows stickers, the day I got it. The other I bought used,
and I presume the previous owner peeled off the stickers just like I did.
It's easy to look inside the mini-PCI compartment and see if the antenna
cables are there. (I assume it's as easy on the T23 as it is on the A30p,
just a door on the bottom, is that right?)
