I just checked the file, it's called spsuiu26.exe and the headline of the
page is "BIOS Update (Non-Diskette) - ThinkPad 570E". So I doubt that it's
the wrong file.
I shoud have probably thougt of this before the update but the system
doesn't reboot when you choose the reboot option from the win2k shutdown
menu. Don't know why.
So I guess I need a new board then. I'm gonna contact the local IBM service
desk and ask what they can do about it.
