hmm..
i DO think DFT supports the E drive..
at least ver. 4 should..
i JUST NOW finished copying stuff off an E7K60 in a metal USB external case
to a desktop (to free it up for use)..
it was in that non-ventilated case for an hour and the heat level is low..
if your HDD is heating up it MIGHT have a bit of a problem..
is the DFT you have version 4..??
if not, get it from the hitachi web site..
