HP installation software ALWAYS has setup issues.
I like the Epson stand alones, no fax, but scan and print and color copy.
Work well, and they are CHEAP.
I bought CX5400 models for under $50 with rebate.

I hate adding to this, but I use the Lexmark 6170 all-in-one and never had
any issues. Paper feed works very nicely. The printer cannot handle cheap
paper. But using normal weight laser/ink jet paper yields near perfect
results. Color is vibrant lines - clear. I've moved twice in the last year
and it survived without any problems. Software that drives the machine is
easy to use.

I've been using an HP OfficeJet Pro1175CXi for about seven years with no
major problems. The worst thing is that paper does not always feed reliably
from the paper tray, especially when I've been doing a lot of printing. It
will give me an "out of paper" message and I'll need to manually push the
next sheet until it gets grabbed.and pulled in.
