[Thinkpad] Rapid Restore Ultra space reclaim

Anyone know how to reclaim the disk space on a T-40 that has been taken up
by a Rapid Restore Ultra backup. It's in the hidden protected area. One
would think that uninstalling RR would get rid of it, but somehow the option
to uninstall the software has been revoked from my system. I know that
someone else asked this very question a couple months ago... just wondering
if anyone knows of a solution to it now.

I don't have the system restore disks, so I don't want to delete the HPA or
make it un-usable. I would be willing to do a factory restore, if I knew
that that would get me by my 4 gig's of disk space...
