[Thinkpad] Re:TP 560 error beep?

I would remove the CMOS battery, then after replacing it try booting again.
Isn't one, long beep a DIMM/RAM error?
The short beep may be irrelevant.

Its been sitting in a file case for a couple of years and worked the last
time it was booted. Any ideas on what I'm missing?
