[Thinkpad] lost the Fn+F7 pgm functionality

Fn+F7 used to pop up a nice menu of possible display configurations, but (after a recent registry repair) it no longer does this. I've looked at Presentation Director and ensured that the "Fn+F7 Settings" indicate "Show me the menu,", but the machine still behaves as if the last item were checked ("Switch display output [and cycle thru local, external, both]").

Any ideas/suggestions?
