Re: [Thinkpad] Wireless questions on spec'ing new TP

This is confusing. This cardbus adapter is an option in addition to having
the integrated wireless. Or at least that's the way it appears. I hate to
say this but after visiting Dell's website last night, they sure provide far
more information on options not to mention more options when customizing an
item.

Oh, you asked which model I was spec'ing. That would be an T42 or 41 (can't
remember which), an R52 and an Xsomething.

Not desirable to me. You will be able to buy a PC Card WLAN card at a
lower price elsewhere, and anyway for my Thinkpad use the far better
choice is a model with a built-in mini-PCI wireless card so that it's
always with the machine but does not occupy any PC Card slot.

Which model or size class of Thinkpad are you considering, Dave?
