I am the happy owner of a T30 since 2003, no issues whatsoever, I upgraded
to 512mb with an extra SIMM. I have dual boot with Linux/W2k and an
additional hard disk with WXp, docking station and port replicator
sometimes. All problems that I have experienced have been thanks to Herr
Bill's cheesy windoze software.

My 3 daughters have T2x machines, no complaints either.

My wife is the only "black sheep" of my family, she owns a Dell.... She
bought in on her own without any advise from me, now is paying the
consequences..... Cheesy hardware....

Cheers,

I'll echo those comments. I've purposefully avoided the T30 in my TP
adventures due to the excessive amount of negative feedback about them. I
have no desire to start buying mainboards on ebay when (not if) the original
one blows.

I am using a T23 and A30p with good results. Upgrading to a speedy P4 laptop
will have to wait for a while.
Having a three spindle machine has spoiled me.
