My backup 600E with the wrecked keyboard (no spacebar or G key,
trackpoint doesn't work) does have a good Enter key, but I
haven't gotten around to replacing the keyboard. In fact, both
the G and the space do register if one presses on the nub
of silicone-looking stuff. The curvy metal bits hold on an
intricate plastic pad (which has also disappeared for those
keys), onto which the key itself rides.
In the meantime, when this computer is used, it goes with a USB
mouse.
