There are already archive options for the TP list. You can find info in
the FAQ:

6) Is this list archived anywhere?

Archive since the list's inception (~1993):
<http://zurich.ai.mit.edu/hypermail/thinkpad/>

'Official' archive since list hosting moved to stderr.org (~2003):
<http://illuminati.stderr.org/pipermail/thinkpad/>

I'm not opposing your additional archiving, if you can get your software
to a state the works with Elijah's standards, but I'm just pointing out
that there are other options.
