[Thinkpad] T21 Setup

I have a T21 that I replaced the hard drive in. I installed XP from a
standard XP disk because I misplaced the restore disk. I noticed the
machine is slow and my T20 with Windows 98 is much faster.

Do I need to setup 2 partitions and a ram disk like on the T20?
