Among other things, it's supported. Actually, I never switched to
Drive Image 7; I just kept using Drive Image 2002, which runs in
stand-alone mode. When Drive Image 2002 failed to do a backup one
day (I've no idea why), I recalled reading about True Image in some
Langalist ( http://langa.com/ ) letters, so I decided to give it a try.

I understand the integrity issues connected with doing backups of a
live OS (rather than stand-alone), but so far, so good. I have True
Image scheduled to do a full backup of my T30 every morning at 2am, a
major comfort to me. I have a separate HD for backups, so the USB
issue isn't (for me).
