I'm sure IBM won't have a logical explanation, so let me share this with
you.
Ordered two CMOS batteries, one for a 560X, the other for an A22.
Part numbers are 02K6572 & 12J1695.
They arrived in different IBM packaging, specifically the 12J is labeled
"Serviceable Used Part"
Under the peel off label, the 12J is marked with the 02K number, and both
batteries are physically identical, wires and all.
The prices were $7.34 & $23.00.
"Lucy, you got some 'splainin to do!"
Ideas?
