Hello All,

I used to have an old Tandy 1000 SX. I didn't have a hard drive, although I
got ripped off (130 bucks) when I tried to buy one from the Internet many
years later. It never came, and the company was clueless. I spent hours on
it playing games, as my father bought it for my brother and I when I was
three. He knew that the computer was going to be big. For years we would
play games on it, King's Quest, Space Quest (my personal favorite), Thexder,
Black Cauldron and others.

When I hit 16 things changed a little bit, I started looking at the DOS
manuals, and learning all the commands. This lead to me finding BASIC among
the System Disks. That provided endless fun, I even got to try graphics as
we had a 320*240 16 color monitor. Later still I found Borland's Antique
software on their site, and it ran Pascal 5.5 just fine. Turbo C 2.01 was a
bit of a challenge, as I had to split the libraries off into a seperate
disk, and change it at the right time.

Sorry if I'm jabbing, but I do have so many fond memories of that wonderful
machine. I just wish my parents hadn't given it away 3 years ago. It would
be PERFECT for developing Assembler programs, as it is minimal on the MIPS
front.
