There are a number of pre-built images available for the player, but since
this is Microsoft we are dealing with here, there aren't any images for XP.
Think -- activation code process. I believe all the VM's available for free
download are open source, license-free, or time-limited trials.
I suppose someone could create an XP VM that is unregistered, but it would
very likely be a pain to deal with and would certainly be in violation of
the MS product licensing.
