Hello,
I had read somewhere (a military serviceperson's blog?) that they had taken to
taping pieces of pantyhose over the air inlets on PCs as filtering material to
keep dust out of them. Perhaps you could use something similar to prevent dust
from getting in?
If you do install filters, I would strongly suggest monitoring temperature to
see what effect, if any, they have on internal temperatures.
