Lenovo needs to warn users that adding an additional non-Windows OS to the
disk could cause a hiccup to the Windows recovery system thay they
preloaded.

Uh-huh. Like RR knows why you changed the disk partition layout.

If you want a good backup...........clone your drive prior to making
changes, or use a software backup package, that you can buy off the shelf.
Retrospect, Veritas & others come to mind.

Users need to think ahead, in order to anticipate their own action's
results...............
You are the guy who made the changes without having a fall back plan.

As you stated earlier, you would rather complain than get answers and
assistance.

(snipped from your previous post)
>>Whether I yield any useful information is really secondary.<<

This isn't a complaint board. It's a user to user help board. You don't want
help. You want to complain. Go do that somewhere else. We have enough
traffic.

Good Sunday to all.
