Acronis 9, a T60p, and an X41T here. I've had zero problems cloning and
writing images to an external USB2 connected drive. I've also successfully
recovered from the images...
I can't say enough good things about Acronis.

With the X2* series, I've had a 100% "no muss, no fuss" success rate with
Acronis 8, whether via Ultrabay or USB interface, which is a 100% greater
success rate than experienced with Ghost.
