Re: [Thinkpad] Installing win2k on a 240x

Is it PCMCIA (16-bit) or CardBus (32-bit)? If it's CardBus, then it's a pci
extension with an ide controller. Find the I/O address of the ide controller
and type it into Smart Boot Manager, and it should be able to boot the
CardBus Cd. If it's PCMCIA, then it's basically native ide, and should act
accordingly. I think you can find the I/O base address of the pcmcia
controller and type that into Smart Boot Manager, and it'll boot the CD. To
enter the I/O base address, there's an option somewhere in the menu for
advanced CDROM options.

My best guess.
