I haven't read up on it much, the price isn't too bad and if it would work
with your media player, Geeks has a sale on a nifty little gadget by logitec
calling it a wirless 2.4g device that allows you to play your pc audio over
your home entertainment center, AND includes a remote to control your media
player!

Pay attention to the broken parts of the url above, you may have to copy
each part pasting in your browser go bar.

No, I don't want you to email me the 30 GB disk image (grin), but the idea
is interesting. Could you outline how you did it?

A deal maker for me would be the ability to change playlists or songs, or
pause, without having to open the computer up. A closed unit, fan off,
isn't going to be too much of an imposition in the living room with a
Stereo. Maybe VNC or the thread about USB keypads is part of the solution!?
It would have been great if every Thinkpad from the beginning had a single
user-programmable button on the outside of the case.
