I'm almost with you; I love the trackpoint (my T23 is my 3rd machine with
one), and use a trackball on my desktop machines.

I worked on a Dell Latitude recently, which has a trackpoint of sorts, but
it was hyperactive (XP) and hard to manage. The owner allowed as how he
had never used it.
