Pros for T60: It's newer, which is cool in itself.
It will always be newer than a T43, potentially increasing resale value.
The Core Duo has two cores, which makes some software a lot faster, and
the whole system more responsive when it's busy.
If you're getting a Core 2 Duo, it's faster still.
The Core 2 Duo can run 64-bit OS and applications.
The T60 has KVM, so you can run multiple OSes at the same time with much
better performance than a standard virtual machine.
Better 3D graphics.
The T60 can use 3GB of RAM (T43 can use 2GB).
Faster SATA hard drive.
PC-5300 vs PC-4200 memory.
DVI passthrough on dock.
Extra USB port (but missing parallel).
Possible internal WWAN
"HD" audio chip
Vista
How much each of those is worth is up to you.
Cons: Different power supply
Incompatible docks and devices
No parallel port
No S-video out
Maybe a tiny bit heavier
More expensive
