[Thinkpad] WPA with WiFi on ThinkPad X24

I don't seem to be able to connect to a WiFi access point using WPA
encryption/authentication with my ThinkPad X24, which contains an "IBM
High Rate Wireless LAN MiniPCI Combo Card". I looked for newer drivers
or firmware on the Lenovo site, but there is no mention of WPA
compatibility. Can this card use WPA, and if not, what are my other options?
