It's unfortunate that we can't simply buy a clean system -- even a Lenovo
sales rep referred to the preloaded software as, I quote, "junk." He also
told me that there isn't a list available on the Lenovo site of all the
preloads that you'll wind up getting.

Additionally, you can't choose to purchase a "no OS" Thinkpad -- so, to get
a clean OS, you have to buy a Thinkpad with the cheapest OS option, also buy
a standalone copy of Windows, and then wipe/install from that.

Crikes, for that, I'd gladly prefer to check a box on the Lenovo site:

[ x ] Pay $50 extra, and we won't preload a bunch of junk on your computer.
