Not wanting to stick my head out too far and ask for trouble I would say no.
I have been running AVG for the last 4 years and nothing other than SpyBot
and Ad aware gets run about once a week.
I have never been bitten and have never had any trouble with other programs.
The folks I work with and I agree that NAV is nothing short of a scam when
it comes to helping out those who have it installed. I hear account after
account of not getting renewals or system crashes and countless problems
with compatibility so we advise to dump NAV and go with the free AVG. And
it has always been reliable.
I don't think the Internet Security is necessary especially if your on the
inside of a router that acts as your firewall.
Been working for me fine.
My 2 cents

problem?
I'm convinced.
Now, is it worth the extra bucks to buy AVG Internet Security instead of
just AVG Anti-Virus? Either way, nothing will please me more than getting
rid of NAV.
