I wonder why PC Mag still and so frequently recommends Norton.
Let me see . . . for decades it's been Ziff-Davis, Microsoft, Intel and
Symantec at the cost of all others. Compaq or HP and at times Dell
often got kudos. If it actually had quality - it never got more then a
mention in some obscure column. On the other hand, if it met the good
ol boy's network of crappy computing junk, - well it was published. I
often believed PCMag's opinion had a lot to do with advertising income.
I would not consider anything from Ziff-Davis as legit journalism
