Hello,

Symantec has three versions of Norton System Works; a basic edition, a
regular edition and a premier edition. The regular and premier editions
come with Norton Antivirus, so it could just be a problem with the installer
for Grisoft's AVG not being able to discriminate between the version installed
on the ThinkPad T43.

You might want to do a complete backup of the system, then try installing
the software. If no conflict occurs, you could then continue with configuring
the system.
