I ordered one on Oct. 4th, and got it Nov. 7. I think it would have been
faster, but I ordered winXP and a SVGA screen -- instead of the common
wide screen.

I don't have any advice on your other questions, but I think the 4965AGN
is the newer spec., an dth eone I went with.
