There is RSJ HD Image. Its free for single users. --It will image the
harddrive and MBR, and restore either form a bootable CD/DVD.

Their CD writer; RSJ CD Writer is not free, but the demo runs for 30 days
-- its superior to anything first created in the windows world.

Others here pointed me to Gpart a few days ago. Its free and will shrink
