I have had a second need for service on my T43 while on a 6 month stint in Guangzhou, China. Last month the DVD packed it in, now I began to notice that the fan was making quite a buzz.
I walked into their service center this morning, it was quickly agreed that the fan needed replacing and they had one on hand. One hour later on was on my way and the fan is quiet. This is why I bought the machine, thinking that I would get decent service during my frequent stays in China. I was right, only wish I didn't need quite so much service. This T43 was put into use in December, 2006 and I have, within the last 6 months, replaced the keyboard, the CD/DVD, and now the fan. Is this a bit much??
