I'll stay away from most of this... But if you find yourself in a
position of having to buy a copy of M$ Office for whatever reason,
consider the free downloads of OpenOffice (www.openoffice.org), or IBM's
free Symphony based on OpenOffice... I've found them to be a great
alternative. The only downside is that it does take a little while to
get used to the new interface, but that would be true of any new
software, and even new versions of M$ Office to some degree...
