[Thinkpad] XP problems on T60

XP started to act up on me. I logged in with my fingerprint, and a
security wizard came up to configure advanced security. It wanted my
password. I fed it everything I thought was the right PW, but it wouldn't
take anything.

I couldn't log into Administrator either, but was able to create another
administrator account and set its password. I then set the password on the
jt account to a good value.

Using Ctrl-Alt-Delete to log jt in, the password worked, but the wizard
came up again, and there the password would not work.

???

This happened since I tried to set up file and print sharing between two
XP machines. The T60 could see the other machine, but not vice versa.
