I've used a similar card for ethernet before and roundaboutedly run
into the same problem. The card itseld was secure but any movement of
the machine necessitated removal of the dongle and any lack of removal
led to it inevitably getting whacked. It was pretty fragile and failed
cryingly slow. "Let's see. If I prop it up with this floppy drive
juuuuuu.u.u.u.st so..."
