Well, since you have an X60 w/a second battery, unless you are flying
really far, you probably won't need or want to spring for one of the
Air/Auto power adapters. If you should, iGo makes a good one, and IBM
sells one as well.

Apart from that -- Carry your laptop on the plane with you as one of
your carry-on bags, and use a proper laptop bag (padded pocket area for
the laptop itself). Do NOT process it as checked baggage.

I'm not sure the situation w/ international travel & AC power adapters.
Someone else can probably assist there.

When using the TP in flight, they will want you to have all radios
turned off (bluetooth, wifi). I usually turn mine off at some point
prior to boarding the plane, and just leave the laptop in sleep or
hibernate modes so it will boot up faster once on board.

If you do think you'll need an air/auto power adapter, use
http://www.seatguru.com/ to determine if your seats will even supply
power. Very handy web site that one...
