I have been running the DELL 24" WD monitor with one of my A31p boxes
with Dock-II via its DVI connector. Use Omega (ver 3.8.291) driver, and
Ultramon to help my desktop arrangement. My setup is configured for 1
desktop across the TP and Dell monitors. Have calibrated the DELL for
photo editing, and is designated as the primary monitor. This setup
works like a charm for me.

Been eying the 30" Dell (and other brands) 2560x1600 ... but these need
a dual head DVI video card ... Dock-II compatibility is an issue however.
