Hi, if you have the original CD, I think you can put the CD in any
computer and write out the boot floppy disk.

Are you using the Omnibook CD-ROM drive?  If you are, the standard
floppy should work -- if not, you will need to find an appropriate DOS
driver for your CD-ROM drive (especially if it is a PCMCIA or parallel
port attached drive)

It is easy to reformat the hard drive, you can use any boot disk for this
purpose.  The tricky bit is getting access to the CD-ROM once you have
reformatted.

(For other readers, the 800CT uses a SCSI-attached external CD-ROM, and the
SCSI controller does not support booting.)
