Hi Olivier!

As I don't know how experienced you are and as someone who did this
before I just want to 'warn' you about frequent recompiles of the whole
system when using gentoo, unless you keep your system as-is once you
installed it. I believe there is a reason for packaging systems and you
just compile whatever is not available in the distro you choose.

I personally use Debian/GNU Linux (writing this logged in on my Omnibook
running sid) but I guess a lot of other distros would also do the job.
